Hello ;)
I went on different blogs and this is what I have to say...
I visited the http://mrspatterson.edublogs.org/
This was a first grade teacher Mrs. Patterson's blog spot.
I liked the lay out...not too busy and nice colors.
I loved the "Pump The Pump"- Music Video.
I liked the Goodreads Section.
I though it was nice she had an archive section that went back years.
-Digital storytelling a plus
-Math pratice a plus
Question: When can my first grader transfer into Mrs. Patterson's classroom! :0)
Highly Recommend this lovely site!
I visited the http://reflectivecreations.wordpress.com/
Reflective Creations blog site.
Didn't like this blog spot too much.
Didn't like the colors, or lack of color I should say.
I am a visual person, needed more colores and images.
The home page was the most colorful with pictures on it.
The title grabbed my attention but when I went into the site I expected a little more.
I do not recommend this site.
I visited the http://gcaspers.fts.educ.msu.edu/wp/
This was a Learning Technology and Games blog site.
Another blog that just seemed to busy and bland for me.
Too much info..
Not too many colors, or fonts or formats.
Same fonts throughout the different categories.
Not many images or pictures.
I do not really recommend this blog site.
I visited the http://nightwiesel.blogspot.com/
Students Reflections on Night by Elie Wiesel blog site.
This was a blog that allowed students to express their thoughts and
reflections after reading the autobiographical memoir Night by Elie Wiesel.
This is a nice way to have students demonstrate twhat they have learned after a lesson.
This can also be a good way to have them summarize to you a book they have read.
It is a simple yet simple blog page, I liked it.
I recommend this blog site.
I saved the best for last...
I visited http://www.soyouwanttoteach.com/
So You Want To teach? blog site.
LOVED IT! <3
As Soon As The Page Loaded My Eyes Said Yes!
It was not too busy.
I liked the icons at the bottom of the page..yes you guessed it...the images!
I liked all the categories listed but the "Rookie Teachers" Category caught my interest the most.
I enjoyed reading the 5 Habits of a Highly Effective Teacher
Communication
Classroom
Relationship
Personal
Community
I highly recommend this blog site :0)
